My Outtravelled Journey
I’ve always been a seeker—of wellness, of inner peace, and of adventure—so naturally, travelling became a passion. Having been on several wellness getaways, I realized that I had to spend countless hours combing the internet and piecing together the perfect itineraries. The process was both overwhelming and underwhelming!
For years, I had been searching for something on the market that would help me build my own wellness vacations exactly the way I wanted. I want luxury accommodations, unique experiences that will enrich and challenge me, daily yoga and other activities to keep me moving, and plenty of time enjoying luxurious treatments for mind and body, all on my own time. To find everything I wanted was a struggle and took hours of preparation. I wanted a better experience. I wanted my luxury vacation to start with the booking process, but was disappointed when I couldn’t find it.
I knew I had to take action in 2019, when I experienced a tremendous loss that shifted my entire world. My anxiety and depression had taken over me. I knew I needed some time out of the city, so I threw myself into planning a trip to bring me back to life. I set off to Bali, traveling to some of their 5-star resorts for some relaxation and rejuvenation. I booked a yoga retreat and spent every day doing exactly what I wanted to do. To say I felt revived was an understatement. I not only personally experienced what a wellness vacation can do, I also witnessed incredible shifts in the other guests, and I was truly inspired by the experience.
Outtravelled was born out of my passion for wellness and my freakish love of organization and planning. I have spent over 15 years as an assistant to affluent executives and CEOs in NYC. Booking travel has always been one of the most exciting aspects of my job. I know first-hand how crucial it is to develop a personal relationship with someone to ensure they not only have what they need, but also to anticipate what they don’t even know they need yet!
